I began taking yoga classes about a decade ago and although I can’t say what brought me there, I can say that I stayed because I loved it and because I needed it. Mindfulness began on the mat and slowly began to work it’s way into all aspects of my life, paving the way for a brighter and more full-filling future.
With intent focus and enormous drive I began my 200 hour teacher training in both Yin & Yang styles through Buddha Nest Yoga in October 2016 and completed in May 2017. When not on the mat you can find me with my family (I have a rescue dog, a little boy and a husband), out in the woods, by some form of water (probably the ocean), rock climbing, or in my studio creating art. My knitting usually follows me everywhere as sitting still for long lengths of time is only a recently acquired skill.
