I love books! Books based around yoga and Buddhism are a little dense sometimes but I trudge through them. I mostly enjoy them when they get into the metaphysical aspects of movement and meditation or they talk about the science of things. Sometimes I also read books that are by or about yogis so I’m putting those in as well. I’d prefer to listen to yoga anatomy and sequencing but having a physical reference is awesome so here’s my ever growing list:
Yoga Sequencing by Mark Stephens
The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga by Bernie Clark
The Key Poses of Yoga by Ray Long, MD
B.K.S. Iyengar Yoga: The Path to Holistic Health
Yoga 365 Daily Wisdom for Life, On & Off The Mat by Susanna Harwood Rubin
The Issue at Hand by Gil Fronsdal
Spiritual Graffiti by MC YOGI
Wheels of Life: The Classic Guide to the Chakra System by Anodea Judith
Yoga For Emotional Balance by Bo Forbes
Practice You, A Journal by Elena Brower
The Yamas and Niyamas: Exploring Yoga’s Ethical Practice by Deborah Adele
